"The cost savings involved with using these devices will enable us to expand our business and improve the services we offer our customers".
Performance Technologies' SEGway SS7 over IP products reliably transport and route SS7 messages over lower-cost IP networks.
The Internet Engineering Task Force Signalling Transport group's (IETF SIGTRAN) Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) is used to ensure the messages are sent as reliably over IP networks as they are over the traditional public-switched telephone network (PSTN).
