Full redundancy for critical elements in the system architecture makes this platform ideal for high availability/mission-critical applications.

When used with Performance Technologies' leading-edge embedded Ethernet switches, single board computers and I/O communications products, the CPC5095 provides an application-ready, feature-complete offering for equipment manufacturers developing applications such as soft switches, edge routers, controllers and media gateways.

"The CPC5095 platform is highly scalable, ranging in use from cost-sensitive and mid-range solutions to the highest performance configurations requiring up to 80W of power and cooling per slot", said Tony Romero, Product Manager at Performance Technologies.

"This scalability allows applications to grow over time by adding or upgrading components as needed, opposed to performing forklift platform upgrades".

The CPC5095 features eight payload slots, dual PICMG 2.16 fabric slots, dual PICMG 2.9 Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI)-based shelf management slots and redundant power and cooling.

Redundant intelligent shelf managers enable customers to manage all IPMI-based components and conduct chassis diagnostics remotely.

Additionally, the CPC5095 routes signals across the backplane, eliminating the use of cables.

The CPC5095 platform is available immediately.
