Wirenix is using Performance Technologies Advanced Managed Platform products in its Personal Assistance Manager (PAM) unified communication solution Wirenix is a leading developer of technologies that deliver enhanced speech-recognition services to mobile phone users

The company's PAM product suite offers users an intuitive way to access and retrieve personal databases, location services and web-based information such as traffic and weather.

The "interoperable" solution allows users to interact with any or all of the enhanced services during a single call, without having to disconnect and redial into the network to use another service.

Both are integral parts of the company's Advanced Managed Platform offering.

"Open architecture platforms offer the fastest and most cost-effective path to developing and deploying speech recognition applications for wireless networks", said David Lau, President/CTO of Wirenix.

"We chose Performance Technologies because of its industry-leading position as a developer of integrated embedded systems and software".

"By working with leaders like Performance Technologies, we can ensure our customers receive best-in-class solutions".
