French distribution deal expands to cPCI

Performance Technologies has expanded its distribution partnership with Vsystems France to cover CompactPCI high-performance platforms, blades and software.

Performance Technologies has expanded its exclusive distribution partnership with Vsystems France.

Vsystems France will now distribute Performance Technologies' industry-leading CompactPCI high-performance platforms, blades and software solutions, to France's leading defence and aerospace, commercial and medical imaging equipment manufacturers.

Previously, Vsystems distributed Performance Technologies' PCI server products.

Fully managed and based on industry-backed open standards, Performance Technologies' hardware solutions, including the company's industry-leading Advanced Managed Platforms, offer equipment manufacturers the highest reliability and performance available, with time to market and cost advantages.

In addition, Performance Technologies' CGL 3.2 registered NexusWare Linux-based software distribution and development environment is designed to speed development for system engineers using Performance Technologies solutions to build telecommunications, aerospace and defence, and commercial applications.

These solutions are a natural fit with other open standards embedded computing products sold by Vsystems, and provide customers with a wider set of products with short lead time sales and excellent support services.
