Performance Technologies has updated its AMC121 AdvancedMC single board computer based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

Performance Technologies has updated its AMC121 AdvancedMC single board computer based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor The upgraded module features a substantial increase in memory capacity - up to 4Gbyte of 64bit PC3200 DDR2 memory, as well as support for faster, user-replaceable, Flash memory devices

The Flash memory compatibility includes support for both standard MiniSD and high-capacity MiniSDHC modules and can be swapped out depending on user requirements.

This socketed option provides enhanced, user flexibility to meet design requirements as opposed to permanently affixed Flash memory devices that could limit module performance.

"We are driven to ensure that our customers can quickly take advantage of the latest technologies and product options available on the market today", says Tony Romero, Senior Product Manager for Performance Technologies.

"Increasing the memory and improving the user-replaceable Flash sites on our modules are just a few examples of how we continuously seek new ways to empower developers with additional features for their system designs".
