"As members of a global electronics industry, Philips Semiconductors and Nokia are using several elements of the RosettaNet infrastructure in a significant step toward enabling seamless business transactions on a global basis", said Mike Hamper, senior vice president of Global Sales Operations for Philips Semiconductors, and member of RosettaNet's Electronic Components Board.

"With RosettaNet implementation as a key part of our eBusiness strategies, all of the players in our supply chain can strengthen customer relationships, improve operational efficiencies, increase revenue opportunities, and reduce costs.

Having achieved secure transmissions with a key customer, Philips Semiconductors and Nokia begin reaping the business benefits that will result in tremendous efficiencies and cost savings".

"In implementing RosettaNet standards, Philips Semiconductors and Nokia have created a dynamic, flexible trading partner network", said Jennifer Hamilton, CEO of RosettaNet.
