Blueberry Data is a new baseband family member suitable for hosted and several embedded applications for mobile communications, consumer and computing.
It combines low power consumption levels with 224Kbyte of embedded Flash and a USB 1.1 interface with embedded transceiver.
The PCF87752 supports a wide range of discrete radio ICs and radio modules.
Blueberry Data's recognised Bluetooth core will help ensure interoperability with all major mobile phone and PC manufacturers' Bluetooth compliant devices.
The TrueBlue BGB101 is a pre-qualified, fully tested and plug-and-play Bluetooth radio module.
This second-generation radio unit incorporates all RF parts thereby simplifying the development and production of Bluetooth applications.
Smaller in size than its predecessor the BGB100, the BGB101 measures 89mm2.
Power consumption has been optimised to maintain best in class performance.
These features make this TrueBlue radio module an optimal choice for lowest total cost of ownership.
Development boards with Blueberry Data, BGB101 and software are expected in August 2002.
Samples of standalone Blueberry Data and the BGB101 are expected in July 2002.
Full-scale production is expected during Q4 2002.
