"Our decision to implement NXP's solution was driven by their strong position in the RF and baseband markets, but also the fact that we can extend our implementation into cordless VoIP applications".
"NXP boasts an extensive DECT portfolio, and is highly regarded in the industry for its RF technology", said YJ Park, Korean DECT Project Leader, Novita.
"Our relationship with NXP has been rewarding in Asia and we are currently initiating a drive into the European DECT market".
The UAA3547 transceiver features a highly integrated circuit with on-chip VCO, a synthesiser to implement a phase-locked loop, a TX preamplifier and a highly sensitive receiver.
NXP Semiconductors has established itself as a market leader in DECT chipset manufacturing, providing a worldwide geographical footprint delivering advanced DECT solutions.
The NXP DECT portfolio includes support for DECT, DECT 6.0, WDCT 2.4/5.8GHz.
Today's news further reinforces NXP's position in the cordless market and broadens NXP's RF transceiver portfolio.
