D-subs take a blend of contacts
Phoenix Electronics has a new range of mixed signal D-sub connectors.
Phoenix Electronics has a new range of mixed signal D-sub connectors The range is designed around the standard D-sub shell sizes with the possibility to have a blend of contacts such as signals with coaxial, power or high-voltage contacts
Due to its construction, the product is fully shielded and helps reduce the EMI/RFI leakage.
All contacts are machined with a standard plating for 500 mating cycles but if required a lower-cost version with a 200 mating cycles rating can be supplied.
Also, for hot-plug applications first-mate/last-break contacts can be fitted.
Where connectors are being fitted alongside SMT components an SMC (PiHIR) version, which is assembled in the reflow solder process, can be supplied to reduce assembly costs.
A complete range of accessories is also available meeting the requirements of virtually any application.
