A new piezoelectric buzzer addresses applications where small size, high reliability, robustness and an IP67 rating are the essential parameters.

A new piezoelectric buzzer specifically designed to address applications where small size, high reliability, robustness and an IP67 rating are the essential parameters has been introduced by Phoenix Electronics The SMAC-25 comes in two pin spacings (15 and 17.5mm), with a very small (25mm) octagonal outline and produces a clear and penetrating sound

When considering the specification the life time continuous use rating of 1000h together with 94dB at 30cm sound output means that this sounder is ideal for applications such as fire detectors, gas detectors, life support systems and many other applications which require high reliability, high sound output and also need to meet a high environmental specification.

Samples and data are available now, and the product is in full production.
