High-voltage supplies come to UK market

Photon Power Technology has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with US-based high-voltage power supply manufacturer Universal Voltronics Corp.

Photon Power Technology has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the US-based company Universal Voltronics Corp (UVC).

UVC has over 40 years experience in the design and manufacture of high voltage power supplies for applications such as X-ray, laser, sputtering and particle physics and have over recent years developed many new products for the X-ray market.

With standard products achieving voltages up to 500kV and power levels up to 200kW, UVC can meet the needs of many of today's high technology markets.

Photon Power Technology was chosen by UVC to be its exclusive partner thanks to the experience of Managing Director, Paul Revell, who has extensive application experience having worked in the high- and low-voltage power supply business since the mid-1990s.

"It is a tremendous honour to have been chosen to support UVC here in the UK and I look forward to providing the market place with an excellent product offering backed up by many decades of experience", said Revell.

Based near Portsmouth, Photon Power not only acts as business partner for UVC, but has local service, engineering and production resources for low power high voltage power supplies.
