EL display enables novel remote control

Pelikon has been working with US-based Universal Electronics in developing a universal remote control using the power of an EL display in place of the traditional hard button rubber key mat.
UK-based electroluminescent display specialist Pelikon has been working with US-based Universal Electronics (UEI) in developing a universal remote control using the power of an EL display in place of the traditional hard button rubber key mat Combined with Pelikon's EL technology, UEI was able to introduce its Kameleon line of products featuring Intelligent Illumination - allowing all Kameleon products to offer advanced control functionality while keeping the control interface simple and uncluttered
