Pixelmetrix has installed and commissioned its DVStation ATSC digital television monitoring platform at 35 Fox owned-and-operated television stations throughout the USA.

Each station received a DVStation system configured for both off air RF/8VSB and SMPTE310/MPEG-2 transport stream analysis and monitoring.

Stations in duopoly markets received four-port DVStations, so both markets/stations could be monitored simultaneously.

Philip Dubs, Director of Sales for Pixelmetrix said: "We worked closely with the engineering group at Fox to configure an analyser which could provide test and measurement as well as real time monitoring of RF and MPEG-2 metrics".

"In addition, the VNC remote control software allows their engineering management to collaborate on station technical issues remotely".

"Another key feature was DVStation's Linux operating system, which assures a robust and stable platform".

"The DVStation is a real time, multitasking, multi-user analyser designed to let engineers probe, detect, alert and monitor the various RF and MPEG-2 signals used in the ATSC digital TV station".
