DVStation gains OmniView
OmniTek and Pixelmetrix have formed a strategic partnership to enhance the capabilities of the DVStation family of products.
It also provides Dynamic Programmable Shift Delay, allowing users to configure the Delay table by defining a variation of delays over a particular duration.
This is primarily useful for changes in the time gap between two timezones, in view of daylight savings.
Some countries on the receiving end of the shifted media may impose restrictions on a bulk of television programmes.
DVShift can resolve such issues as it allows weekly playlist configuration.
The weekly playlist can be set up simply by specifying substituted media to be broadcasted over different periods of time in the week, instead of the usual shift.
Additionally, should there be a loss of input signal, DVShift will run a loop playout from previously recorded files, in order to prevent blackouts in the output.

The DVStor Programmable Scheduled Loop Playout allows the DVStor to perform scheduled ASI recording and playout of the recorded material in a loop until the next scheduled recording.
Compliance Recording is achieved with its continuous recording and the ability to schedule TS backup to a pool of external USB hard disks.
Like the DVShift, the DVStor can also be used as a backup playout device for disaster recovery when the main playout device malfunctions.
Other significant features include the Call Centre Application (video thumbnail sequence generation capability and embedded video display of recorded TS), ASI playlist playout and IP recording option.
Pixelmetrix IPTV Testing Platform, the DVStorIP-Gen, provides real IPTV network emulation, generates up to 700 streams and 900Mbit/s of IPTV traffic with real content of any length, supports dynamic insertion of impairments (packet loss and packet jitter), low packet jitter generation, and more.
