NET036 is a new SNMP management solution for the PowerKinetics range of modular, parallel redundant UPS systems.

The new management system is designed to work across multiple server platforms and networks, to provide real-time UPS statistics remotely via a web browser screen.

Priced from only GBP 428 (RRP), NET036 is based on RISC architecture, employing a powerful 32bit RISC processor at its core.

It has 12Mbit integrated memory and is 10/100Base-T compatible, to support high-speed Ethernet networks.

NET036 generates minimal data throughput, so ensuring minimal network traffic flow and less demand on the network.

In addition to SNMP, NET036 supports both HTTP and Telnet connectivity, rendering it web-manageable.

Although NET036 provides easily accessible management information via a browser, it is also totally secure against tampering and illegal changes.

Only authorised users can make configuration changes via Telnet or direct connections, as the system is fully password protected.

NET036 complies with the industry standard UPS MIB database (UPSMIB RFC1628), and is compatible with the PowerSoft Suite of software modules, including UPSMAN/UPSMON/RCCMD.

It acts as shutdown manager (RCCMD server), communicating with an unlimited number of RCCMD clients as required and notifies them of any power events or a complete UPS shutdown.

Further features include: additional RS232 "pipe-through" interface available, to enable communication with an additional computer; integrated e-mail client; built-in data logging capability; quick integration into IP networks via DHCP technique; and front-end GUI via Upsmon, Javamon, web browser and major network management software.
