Pulsic has signed a strategic distribution deal in India with D'gipro Design Automation and Marketing.

The deal will see Pulsic further expand its presence internationally, complementing its sales locations in the USA, Japan and Europe.

"Pulsic's unified shape-based platform has achieved significant design wins throughout its markets, and India is a milestone objective for our roadmap", said Kevin Steptoe, Vice President of Marketing for Pulsic.

He continued: "Increasingly Lyric is finding application in complex and high volume designs where yield and performance are key objectives".

"D'gipro provided us with a reliable and well-regarded distribution channel for Lyric and was the natural step forward to distribute our software in India".

S Ramachandran, Managing Director of D'gipro Design Automation and Marketing, commented: "Lyric will provide India's reputable design and manufacture houses with access to Lyric as a valuable DFM and efficiency tool".

"The analogue and mixed signal market in India is growing, and this is the right time for Pulsic to be in the market".

"Our customers will surely see a productivity gain by using Lyric in their design flow".

"D'gipro has been in the Indian VLSI tool market since 1989 and has been a successful distribution company".

"The boom in the Indian VLSI design industry, with many of the multinationals having design centres in India, has prompted EDA vendors to start working with D'gipro to be successful in the India market in the long term", Ramachandran concluded.
