Pulsic has been ranked the third fastest-growing technology company in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table.

Pulsic, the software company in delivering shape-based physical design solutions, has been ranked the third fastest-growing technology company in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table The highly coveted survey ranked Britain's eligible technology companies by their annual growth rate in sales between 2003 and 2005; during this period, Pulsic's sales rocketed 272% a year

Pulsic's unique automation software, which reduces chip design time by more than 90%, is used to design silicon chips, which are then implanted into a range of consumer products such as cars, mobile phones and personal media players.

The company specialises in memory, complex analogue, custom digital and mixed-signal IC designs, with a product range that includes hierarchical floorplanning, detailed placement, automatic routing and interactive editing.

Overseas sales account for over 90% of Pulsic's revenue, with a substantial contribution from clients in Silicon Valley and Asia.

Headquartered in Bristol, UK, the company has offices in Japan and America and is expanding its international operations with a new research and development arm based in India.

Ken Roberts, Chief Executive Officer at Pulsic, said: "We are delighted to be listed in a leading position in this year's Tech Track 100 league table".

"As the challenges of high-volume design escalate, increasingly sophisticated design solutions are required".

"Providing the technology our customers demand is what drives Pulsic - we work hard to deliver the capability our customers need to stay ahead of the pack".

"It is their commitment to Pulsic that has enabled our success and we thank them for that".
