With more than 20 years in EDA, Sanjiv Kaul brings a wealth of business experience to the Pulsic advisory board.

Sanjiv Kaul has joined the advisory board at Pulsic, the specialist in custom design automation for memory The appointment of EDA veteran Kaul further strengthens Pulsic's distinguished advisory board, which includes Roy E Jewell, President of Magma Design Automation, and Peter Harverson, former Vice President of Cadence Europe

With more than 20 years in EDA, Kaul brings a wealth of business experience to Pulsic.

He has a strong track record of driving strategies that lead to market leadership.

Kaul has played important roles in some of EDA's most successful businesses.

His EDA career spans his start as an applications engineer at Daisy Systems and then his growth up the marketing ranks through Daisy, Valid (acquired by Cadence), Frontline (acquired by Avant.) and Synopsys.

At Synopsys, where Kaul spent 10 years, he led the Synopsys move into physical design as the Senior Vice President/General Manager of the Physical Synthesis business unit.

After helping Synopsys become the leader in digital IC implementation, he worked on putting the Synopsys analogue and design for manufacturability (DFM) businesses on the fast track.

Today, Kaul is focusing his energies on a few promising startups.
