Green targets US microwave sales

Plextek has designed a telemetry system that allows data to be transmitted over long distances at low power.
One of his key objectives is to expand the company's microwave sales in the USA.
Green will be available on the Plextek stand (759) at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium in Long Beach, California, from 12th to 17th June.
Green has extensive experience of supplying components, design services and products to a range of customers worldwide, particularly in the USA where he has numerous contacts in the microwave sector.
He also has strong product management and marketing experience.
This expertise will help Plextek to develop its overseas business.
He commented: "I'm looking forward to pushing Plextek's electronics design and consultancy expertise in a broad range of markets whilst enjoying the benefits of outsourcing component supply and manufacturing".
At Caswell, Green was responsible for the GaAs foundry services and IC products, which involved the management of the product engineering, product innovation and process development teams.
Prior to this he was the GaAs Foundry Product Line/Sales Manager at Marconi.
