Solid-state laser provides superior
blues
The ChromaLase 488 blue/cyan laser is a high reliability telecomms-grade 980nm laser diode, frequency doubled to provide 25mW variable output power at 488nm with superior beam pointing.
The ChromaLase 488 blue/cyan laser is a high reliability telecomms-grade 980nm laser diode, frequency doubled to provide 25mW variable output power at 488nm with superior beam pointing and power stability in a single, compact assembly The ChromaLase 488 requires only 6W (at 25C ) input power at 5V DC and no external cooling or fans
Maximum power consumption at elevated temperatures is 12W.
The ChromaLase 488 is a compact, single-unit assembly measuring only 145 x 82 x 33mm.
Options include a fibre delivery with choice of single-mode optical fibre or polarisation-maintaining fibre.
Delivery is 4-6 weeks, prices on application.
Other lasers in the series include 405 and 635nm devices with engineering evaluation units at other wavelengths from 375nm UV, other blue lines, longer red and NIR wavelengths.
