The November 2003 edition of the Centrovision electronic catalogue describes the company's full range of silicon and InGaAs photodiodes for applications in medical instrumentation, defence, aerospace, automotive, industrial sensing and optical scanning markets.

California-based Centrovision is a part of the OSI Systems group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of optoelectronic detectors with facilities in the USA, and Malaysia totalling 12,820m2 of production.

Centrovision has an excellent track record of on-time deliveries, low returns and high assembly yields essential today in meeting the demands of just-in-time and highest quality dependable deliveries in OEM manufacturing, security, medical and fibre-optic industries.

Centrovision will work with all customers to optimise performance in the detector itself, include optics or custom filters, include hybrid transimpedance amplifiers, hermetically seal the package and mount the photosensor on a custom PCB if requested as an outsourced service.

Packaged detectors include bicells, quadrants, linear arrays, hybrid devices, filter detectors, photopically corrected detectors, position sensing diodes and Si/InGaAs sandwich detectors.

Chip-only devices are offered in waffle packs, tape and reel or stretch tape and rings for high volume users.

Other packaging options include PCB, ceramic, plastic, surface mount, TO-type and turnkey assemblies.
