The Axcel Photonics LambdaLok high-power laser diode series incorporates a volume Bragg grating to ensure narrowed linewidths and 30 times improved wavelength stability over temperature compared with raw diodes.

These diodes currently offered at 785, 808 and 976nm are ideal pump sources for solid-state lasers and Raman spectroscopy.

The VBG "locks" the wavelength and narrows the spectral linewidth to typically 0.3nm with a temperature coefficient 0.01nm/C.

Axcel Photonics manufactures laser diodes from 785 to 980nm both single-mode emitters from 3um aperture and broad area multimode emitters 50-460um.

Axcel's proprietary facet passivation has led to substantially higher optical flux densities before damage and Axcel's single-mode emitters achieve 150-500mW, depending on wavelength and 20-40mW per micron stripe width from their multimode series.

Recent data have shown 15W output from a 100um 965nm emitter prior to COD.
