Surface-mount RJ45s minimise scrap
A new series of 1x1 tab-down 10/100Base-TX RJ45 surface-mount connectors feature integrated magnetics.
A new series of 1x1 tab-down 10/100Base-TX RJ45 surface-mount (SMT) connectors feature integrated magnetics The robust J0C connector series can withstand the mechanical and thermal stresses of reflow soldering encountered on high-speed, automated, SMT production lines and are competitively priced compared with through-hole connectors

New choke eliminates common mode noise
Pulse's ChipChoke series for USB2.0 standard applications are said to eliminate common mode noise in high-speed networks.
This series also features coplanarity on the SMT pins of less than 0.102mm, which minimises dry joints after solder reflow and decreases rework and scrap.
The J0C series is designed for direct subscriber line asynchronous multiplexing (DSLAM) and are suitable for small office/home office (SOHO), LAN-on-motherboard, hubs, switches, network interface cards (NICs), remote device terminals (DTs), and remote servers.
Hi-pot performance complies with the IEEE802.3 standard.
The operating temperature range for the parts extends from 0 to 70C.
J0C series parts also meet or exceed the IEEE802.3i standard for 10Base-T, IEEE802.3u standard for 100Base-TX and ANSI X3.263 performance standard.
The parts in this new series are available in tube or tape-and-reel or tray packaging.
