The MDS+24-F-F lightning protector is designed for broadband wireless and satellite applications from 300MHz to 2.5GHz.

The MDS+24-F-F lightning protector is designed for broadband wireless and satellite applications from 300MHz to 2.5GHz.

Offering low throughput energy and multiple-strike capability, Polyphaser's new lightning protector delivers industry leading RF performance.

The MDS+24-F-F uses a cascaded (multistage) protection circuit resulting in low let-through voltage (48V peak) and throughput energy (1000uJ for 3kA at 8/20us waveform).

It also provides very low insertion loss of just 1dB.

RF power is 50W.

The new device will pass telemetry frequencies of 10 to 150kHz and 10 to 100MHz.

In addition to the RF, the unit will pass up to 24V DC to power up amplifiers and other tower top electronics.

The MDS+24-F-F lightning protector comes with 75ohm F female connectors and is flange mountable.
