XLR connectors incorporate a clamping mechanism that withstands 100 pounds (445N) of pull without disconnecting the cable - more than twice the pull rating of any other brand.

Designed to deliver high-quality, low-noise audio transmission, the XLR connectors feature gold contacts and black nickel coating to reduce reflection.

They also feature a smooth, best-of-breed latching mechanism for easy, more secure connections.

These connectors are also available on 10-25 foot (3-8m) cable assemblies made with Belden 1172A four-conductor Star Quad, low-impedance cables.

"Quality and reliability are critical in professional audio equipment, which is why we offer an XLR connector that withstands the maximum extremes and still delivers the highest-quality audio signal", said Pomona Product Manager Dwight Hyland.

"Pomona's broadcast products deliver the best digital signal clarity possible at a competitive price".
