The move from Wokingham, Berkshire has generated local jobs in addition to the relocation of some of its existing staff and enhanced its sales, marketing, logistics and admin functions for a growing customer and distributor base.
The company was first assisted by Telford Development Agency three years ago when it set up its marketing and automation operation in Hortonwood, and in this recent relocation.
Inward Investment Manager Kim Gilmour, said: "I am delighted that a company of the calibre of Phoenix Contact has given a further vote of confidence to Telford by relocating its UK headquarters here".
The company has warehousing and purpose designed customer areas for on-site meetings, and training courses along with a permanent exhibition in one central location.
Telford was selected because of its reputation as a modern manufacturing base, its easy access to the motorway network and availability of modern property.
