The plug connector is suitable for Fast Ethernet transmissions at 100Mbit/s and corresponds to the Cat5 requirements in accordance with EN50173.
Phoenix Contact has developed an entire installation concept based on this plug connector.
Hence there are products such as sleeves, female connectors, couplings and pre-assembled cables available for most industrial installations.
