As with the rest of the Combicon range the products are lead free.

The plug connectors are available with two to nine poles and are compatible with base housing type PC 6 to 16 with pin spacings of 10 and 16mm.

The screw connection to the PCB uses the Phoenix Contact proven tension sleeve principle.

Inverted base terminal strips and plugs from Phoenix Contact's IPC 16 product range can provide protection against accidental contact.

They can be used to provide flying connections using two plug components and provide pluggable connections between individual PCBs.

The optimal PC 16 plug with shield contact also provides a secure connection to the cable screen, to prevent electrical interference.
