Convertors put regulated supplies on the
rails
Two new DC/DC convertors produce a stable 24V DC 1A supply where only an unregulated supply exists.
Phoenix Contact has released two new DC/DC convertors that produce a stable 24V DC 1A supply where only an unregulated supply exists The two units have the same specification, but one has an input range of 10-32V DC and the other 36-75V DC
The 24V DC output is isolated from the input and is adjustable from 22.5 to 28.5V DC with a hard-wired output signal and LED defining its status.
The convertors are compact, only using 22.5mm on the DIN rail.
They are electronically protected against overloads and short circuits and have a wide temperature range of -25 to +70C.
The convertors have a V/I output characteristic curve and work with a power boost power reserve, which reliably starts loads even with high startup currents.
