Screw terminals take multiple roles onboard

A Phoenix Contact product story

The screw terminals from Phoenix Contact's compact Combicon product range are designed as PCB terminals and as codable plugs.

The plugs can be attached to the male headers vertically as well as horizontally.

This saves the user distribution and inventory costs, as the same product can be used for different applications.

Cable cross-sections range from 0.2 to 4mm2, and pitch measurements are 3.5, 5.0 and 7.5mm.

Various models are available for spring clamp terminals.

The easy-to-operate FK-MPT terminal is suited for rigid wires up to 0.5mm2, in a 3.5mm pitch as a PCB terminal, and as male-header plugs.

A double connector enables the looping-through of wires.

This terminal is particularly well-suited for telecommunications applications.

The PTSA family of PCB terminals is colour codable, to make wiring easier and error free.

With their small pitch measurements from 2.5 to 3.5mm and angled spring cage connection, they are ideal for use in lighting devices with a 1.5mm2 clamping area.

All components of the Combicon compact product family now comply with the terms of the RoHS and WEEE directives and are clearly packaged and labelled accordingly.
