Phoenix Contact is offering an eight-pin M12 plug connector for Gigabit Ethernet with insulation displacement connection and a four-pin version for industrial Ethernet and Profinet.
No special tool is required to assemble the four-pin and eight-pin plug connectors.
The wires are simply pressed with the cap into the terminals where they lock into place.
The connection block can accommodate stiff and flexible wires from AWG 26 to 22.
This ensures quick and flexible wiring in the industrial environment for Ethernet and Profinet.
The shielded plug connectors comply with CAT5 in accordance with IEC 11801:2002 and meet high protection category IP67 when connected.
