Compact 40W switchers designed for
reliability
The UPO 40 Series, a compact range of 40W open-frame switch-mode power supplies, is now available from Powerline.
The UPO 40 Series, a compact range of 40W open-frame switch-mode power supplies, is now available from Powerline The range includes units in two sizes: one measuring only 4 x 3 x 1in and a larger version (5 x 3 x 1in) which also offers a choice of Molex or IEC 320 inputs
All the units have universal inputs covering the range 90-264V AC, 47-63Hz, and are available with single, dual or triple outputs at voltages of 5, 9, 12, 15, 18 or 24V DC.
An onboard filter limits conductive electromagnetic interference to meet the requirements of FCC/CISPR 22, Class B.
Efficiency is 70% typical, and input/isolation is 4242V DC.
The units are designed for high reliability, with mean time between failures of 470,000 hours minimum.
