Upgraded uninterruptible power manager
Following the successful launch of its Security One uninterruptible power manager (UPM) last year, Powervar has introduced new, feature-rich, second-generation models.
With its enhanced power factor of 0.85, the Toshiba 1600EP delivers more usable watts per volt-ampere than most conventional systems, allowing lower rated units to be employed for the same application.
Hot-swappable fan assembly and battery trays together with easy front access to the UPS reduce and simplify maintenance tasks.
The 1600EP system also has enhanced web/SNMP monitoring capabilities through Toshiba's advanced Remoteye and TMACS software.
New features include a key lock function for the run/stop control to secure operational settings, clock/calendar settings for time-stamping UPS events, auto battery testing and remote controls for placing in bypass mode or shutting output down.
