Two new series of 60W switch mode power supplies will suit a wide variety of commercial and medical applications.

Powersolve Electronics has two new series of 60W switch mode power supplies that will suit a wide variety of commercial and medical applications.

The LPS-50 series comprises single output open PCB units, whereas the DPS-50 series are external desktop versions of the same products.

Every model in both series carries full safety approvals and M versions are approved to UL60601-1 and EN60601-1 for use in medical equipment.

Features common to both series include 90-264V AC universal input, protection against overvoltage, overload and short circuit.

Remote sense is available on the LPS-50 versions.

There are five models in the LPS-50 series offering wide adjustable output voltages of 5, 12, 15, 24 or 48V DC.

With a footprint measuring just 50.8 x 101.6mm (2 x 4in), the new LPS-50 units are highly efficient and incorporate EMI filtering to EN55022-B, including the M medical versions.

The five models in the DPS-50 desktop series provide outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24 or 48V DC.

AC input connection is by standard 3-pin IEC connector and standard output connector is 9.5 x 5.5 x 2.5mm centre positive barrel connector, on a 1.8m flying lead.
