A series of cost-effective 2W DC/DC convertor modules from Tracopower comprises 28 models, available with wide input ranges of 4.5-9.0, 9-18, 18-36 and 36-75V DC.

The TEL-2/TES-2N series from Powersolve is a new generation of cost effective 2W DC/DC convertor modules which comply fully with the upcoming RoHS Directive.

The convertors are available in two versions: low profile DIL-16 package for through-hole mounting, or in a SMD package (TES- 2N series) which is qualified for a lead free reflow solder process with temperatures up to 245C for 10s.

Produced by leading power specialist Tracopower, the new series comprises 28 models available with wide input ranges of 4.5-9.0, 9-18, 18-36 and 36-75V DC.

Regulated output voltages of 3.3, 5.0, 12.0, 15.0, +/-5, +/-12 and +/-15V DC are available as standard.

The operating temperature range is specified for -25 to +70C without derating .

Other features include short-circuit protection, 1500V DC I/O-isolation and input filtering to meet EN55022, level A without any external components.

With their ultracompact dimensions, these convertors provide a new solution for many space-critical applications in industrial and consumer electronics.
