Powersolve, the leading power solutions specialist company, announces a DC/DC convertor that provides very high power density levels - 30W from a 51 x 25mm industry standard pinout package.

With efficiencies as high as 88%, the new convertors feature a low 5mA input current in standby mode and a wide operating temperature range of -25 to +71C.

The Tracopower TEL30 series takes a wide 2:1, 18 to 36 or 36 to 75V DC input range and gives single DC outputs of 2.5, 3.3, 5.1,12 or 15V DC.

Input to output isolation is 1500V DC.

Key features include input under and over voltage lockout, short circuit protection, output trim adjustment and remote on/off.

The TEL30 is packaged in a six-sided shielded metal case which incorporates an insulated baseplate.

All models carry cUL/UL60950 and IEC/EN60950-1 safety approvals.
