Cool modules extend laser diode lifetimes
New thermoelectrically cooled laser diode modules offer exceptional wavelength and power stability, greatly increased pointing accuracy and significantly extended laser diode lifetime.
The higher power and visibility of the DL-LS1037 make it ideal for outdoor alignment applications such as in a sawmill or lumber yard for the alignment of tree trunks before sawing, as the bright daylight can cause problems with the visibility of the line generated by the laser diode.
Other applications for the Sanyo DL-LS1037 include machine vision where a clearly visible line is needed.
Supplied in a 9mm package, the Sanyo DL-LS1037 has a low threshold current of 50mA, typical operating current of 100mA, low operating voltage of 2.5V, monitor output current of 0.4mA, differential efficiency of 0.8mW/mA and astigmatism of 10mm.
The DL-LS1037 requires a positive (N type) power supply system and has an operating temperature range of -10 to +40C. Request a free brochure from Photonic Products ...
