Cool modules extend laser diode lifetimes
New thermoelectrically cooled laser diode modules offer exceptional wavelength and power stability, greatly increased pointing accuracy and significantly extended laser diode lifetime.
These laser diodes are suitable for applications requiring high visibility in demanding environments, such as machine vision, and also applications that need highly visible laser lines such as required in the wood processing industry and automotive alignment.
The HL6525MG and HL6526FM have a threshold current of 40mA, typical operating current of 110mA, operating voltage of 2.6V, laser diode reverse voltage of 2V and astigmatism of 1mm.
Both devices have operating temperatures ranges from -10 to +70C (CW), and -10 to +75C (pulsed).
The HL6525MG and HL6526FM are supplied in the 5.6mm package that is standard for optical disk drive applications, enabling end products to be kept compact.
The HL6525MG device has a laser diode connection to the outer case, whereas the HL6526FM provides users with a case isolated device. Request a free brochure from Photonic Products ...
