Cool modules extend laser diode lifetimes
New thermoelectrically cooled laser diode modules offer exceptional wavelength and power stability, greatly increased pointing accuracy and significantly extended laser diode lifetime.
Red laser diode provides 10mW in small package
New from Photonic Products is the DL-LS1032, Sanyo's latest red laser diode, which provides 10mW of optical power in the 635nm wavelength band.
The laser modules measure just 25.5mm in length, with a diameter of only 8mm and are extremely efficient and reliable.
The 650nm laser diode modules produce an elliptical, collimated output beam of 3.5 x 1.5mm, with output powers of 0.9 or 4.5mW.
Operating voltage is from 3 to 6V DC at a typical operating current of 30mA (0.9mW) or 40mA (4.5mW).
Beam divergence is less than 1mrad and operating temperature range is -10 to +50C.
The 635nm laser diode modules produce an elliptical, collimated output beam of 3.5 x 1.5mm, with output powers of 0.9 or 4.0mW.
Operating voltage is from 3 to 6V DC at a typical operating current of 30mA (0.9mW) or 40mA (4.5mW).
Beam divergence is less than 1mrad and operating temperature range is -10 to +40C.
The laser modules consist of a brass housing, laser diode, drive circuit and adjustable collimating or focusing lens.
The lens may be adjusted to produce either a collimated beam or focused spot.
Electrical connections are made via external flying leads.
They have been designed as a complete laser diode solution for OEM companies.
For applications requiring electrical isolation of the laser module housing, a hard anodised aluminium housing version of this compact laser module is available. Request a free brochure from Photonic Products ...
