Photonic to distribute Opnext 642nm laser diode
Photonic Products is the authorised distributor of the Opnext HL6385DG, a 642nm, 150mW single longitudinal mode semiconductor diode with TE mode oscillation.
The laser diode has high optical output power, which provides clarity and visibility.
It is suited for use in laser light show systems.
The device itself is a single longitudinal mode diode with low aspect ratio (<2:1) which, coupled with the small emitting chip size (3 x 1um), allows efficient combination of multiple diodes in high power RGB white light sources.
All Opnext laser diodes are registered with the FDA of the US and each laser diode is classified into class II, IIIa, or IIIb, according to the combination of the optical output power and wavelength values.
Opnext laser diodes are lead-free in compliance with the RoHS Directive.
