Power Control, has launched a new, truly universal range of manual and automatic EMBS that can be fitted to any existing enterprise network up to 6kVA
To protect against hot spots, the T2000 has internal ambient and battery temperature monitor as standard, with each battery being spaced approximately 2mm apart.
This simple, but effective solution to battery maintenance has a dramatic effect on battery life expectancy.
No internal password lockout, and easy access to components, enables servicing and maintenance costs to be drastically reduced.
The T2000's internal layout consists of a series of drawers that simply slide out at the front of the machine to expose the system's components, enabling all servicing to be carried out quickly and simply on-site by any qualified technician.
On opening the front door of the cabinet, the user is protected by an internal safety screen, which must be removed before gaining access to live components.
With noise levels of just 51 dB on all models, the T2000 can be conveniently located in computer rooms.
The system can be integrated into an existing BMS (Building Management System) with a customisable alarm board.
The RS 232/485 serial port offers communication direct to the UPS via a serial cable whilst the installation of an USHA card (universal SNMP and HTTP adapter) provides an easy to use sophisticated management solution offering an interface between the UPS and the network.
The embedded HTTP server is capable of processing, forwarding and receiving HTTP commands whilst the embedded SNMP chips allows messages to be sent and received.
Both facilities can be carried out simultaneously.
Conforming to all relevant electrical safety standards, and carry the CE mark, the T2000 also has a user-friendly LCD panel featuring on-line assistance, easy to install battery strings and local and remote emergency power off (EPO).
It can be installed on either active parallel or hot standby mode, ready to take over the load automatically in the event of a critical component failure.
