DDR2 modules promise greater stability

A PQI Europe product story

Dual-channel modules are perfect for memory-hungry operating systems, professional grade application software and the latest gaming needs.

A new 240-pin DDR2-1066 4Gbyte dual-channel kit from PQI uses an 8bit prefetch design and 1066MHz operating frequencies at a low voltage of 1.92V.

PQI's DDR2-1066 4Gbyte (2Gbyte x 2) dual-channel modules have been tested for greater stability and are the perfect solution for memory-hungry operating systems, professional grade application software and the latest gaming needs.

Made from selected 70nm devices in 128M x 8bit double-sided configuration and eight-layer PCB, together working in dual channel mode, it offers a maximum of 17Gbyte/s transfer rate.

In compliance with JEDEC standards, the DDR2-1066 maximises modern-day processor processing standards.

One of the benefits of having a large physical system memory is that the hard drive will be accessed less frequently for file paging that results in a more responsive operating system.

In addition, the modules have diamond-cut heat spreaders to disperse the accumulated heat more efficiently.

The 4Gbyte dual channel kit also has a new look - a phoenix emblem that symbolises stealth and performance.
