Ken Edmonds has been appointed Sales and Marketing Director and a Member of the Board by ProtoDel International.

In his new position, Edmonds will be responsible for worldwide sales and marketing activities for ProtoDel International and ProtoDel Inc, its US-based sister company.

With over 25 years international sales, marketing and engineering experience in the telecommunications industry, Edmonds represents an invaluable addition to the Board.

Commenting on his appointment Edmonds said, "I believe my worldwide experience working for suppliers of major optical systems and networks will directly benefit ProtoDel and its ambitious plans for global expansion.

My job will be to work closely with my colleagues around the world to increase the level of sales penetration already achieved by the Group".

Prior to joining ProtoDel, Edmonds was UK Director of Optical Marketing at Nortel Networks and, more recently, Head of Optical Sales at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for sales of optical networks throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
