Module keeps scopes in focus

The LF100 laser focus module constantly monitors the focal position of the microscope and makes adjustments through a motorised focus to maintain a perfect image of the specimen.

High magnification inspection of reflective specimens, such as semiconductor wafers, is inherently tiring because of the constant need to adjust the focus position Prior Scientific Instruments has developed an innovative product to eliminate this particular problem

The LF100 laser focus module constantly monitors the focal position of the microscope and makes adjustments through a motorised focus to maintain a perfect image of the specimen.

Once installed, the system stores settings for up to five objective lenses meaning little or no future adjustment is required.

The high-performance microprocessor used to monitor and adjust the focus removes the requirement for user adjustable gain controls.

This therefore minimises the amount of operator involvement required and improves the ergonomics of the inspection process. Request a free brochure from Prior Scientific ...
