Xennia Technology has appointed Prism Electronics as its preferred supplier of PCBs and electronic subassemblies.

Xennia Technology, an industrial inkjet specialist based in Hertfordshire, has appointed St Ives-based contract electronics manufacturer Prism Electronics as its preferred supplier of PCBs and electronic subassemblies Xennia contacted Prism looking for a manufacturing partner that could supply manufacturing services to support development work and provide production volumes of components

Prism will initially manufacture a range of different PCBs as well as subassemblies which will be used in Xennia's inkjet print head controller systems.

"We are often faced with tight delivery schedules for our products", said John Corrall, Production and Engineering Director at Xennia.

"Prism is very much a deadline sensitive company and is therefore ideally suited to our business needs".

Prism has already helped Xennia migrate development projects to full manufacture.

"Taking projects from development phase into manufacture needs to be done carefully to achieve economic, reliable production", said David Dickin, Business Development Director at Prism.
