The Sonic Audio SP is a low-cost, PC/104 form-factor sound card for embedded computer systems that provides two supplemental serial ports and an onboard parallel port.

Based around ESS Technology's AudioDrive ES1869F chip, the Sonic Audio SP offers a seven-channel mixer and powerful 2W per channel output to record, compress and play back CD quality output with programmable sampling frequencies from 4 to 48kHz.

Featuring four audio inputs and two outputs, the card supports full-duplex operation for simultaneous recording and playback using two DMA channels.

This product is currently in stock and priced at $104 each in volume orders of 100-plus units.
