Trade Fairs for the electronics industry organised by Messe Munich International now qualify for UK Government funding.

Trade Fairs for the electronics industry organised by Messe Munich International now qualify for UK Government funding.

This means that companies keen to raise their profile in the rapidly expanding market areas of China and India can do so, with financial assistance, at Electronica/Productronica China (Shanghai 17th to 19th March 2004) and Componex/Electronic India (New Delhi 12th to 15th February 2004).

"In fact it, is possible to exhibit at these shows for as little as GBP 1500", says Messe Munchen's UK representative Roger Sherman.

"Quite a bargain when you consider the growing importance of these countries to the global electronics scene", adds Sherman.

"And, by exhibiting at either or both events, companies will get the chance to experience the great potential of China and India at first hand", he concludes.

To qualify for assistance, UK companies will need to book their exhibition space through the Electronic Exporters Group and pay in full.

The UK Government will then refund 60% of the cost up to a maximum of GBP 2300.
