Event ready to welcome international visitors
Electronica 2004, the world's largest and most important in event for the international electronics industry, will soon begin and is offering a web portal for visitors.
Within the electronics industry, these include: Electronica, Productronica and Laser.
Held every two years, these events attract thousands of exhibitors across the components, test and measurement, production equipment and electro-optics sectors.
As in recent years, UK Trade and Investment (the new name for Trade Partners UK) is offering financial assistance to UK companies exhibiting at Electronica (Munich, 9th to 12th November 2004).
The grants, which are of variable amounts up to a maximum of GBP 2500 per company, are obtainable through either of two trade associations organising British group participations.
The two associations are Intellect and the Electronic Exporters Group.
For Intellect, interested firms should contact Warren White on 01622 754200; for the EEG, contact Bert Saunders on 02392 665133.
Both groups offer space to companies in the appropriate product hall and charge a management fee.
However, participation in this way considerably reduces the organisational burden often associated with exhibiting overseas.
