The world's largest and most important in event for the international electronics industry will soon begin: electronica 2004.

Those who have already pre-registerd online for the world's leading trade show in this segment save time and money at the entrance.

For those who would like to plan their trade show activities efficiently, the Internet portal offers "my.global-electronics.net" - an organizer function that can be used at no charge.

At the site, users register once then receive access to the online organizer.

Then users can utilize the "Exhibitor Data Base" to research the companies that they would like to visit.

One click on "note this editor" causes the name of the company, including the hall number and booth number, to be added to a personal list of exhibitors.

Those attending electronica can use the "Accompanying Events" item in the menu to put together a list of important dates and times from the list that contains all the events on the electronica program, from individual presentations to the executive roundtable.

Selected dates and times are "marked," which means that they are transferred into the my.global-electronics.net user's "calendar." All the information can be printed out in the form of a list, downloaded as a pdf-file or synchronized with Outlook or other e-mail programs.

Using the my.global-electronics.net message function, users can send messages, request a personal meeting with an exhibitor, or recommend pages from the global-electronics.net portal.

In each case, e-mail that was entered in the user's "profile" is specified as the sender.

Even after electronica, my.global-electronics.net retains its usefulness.

The organizer can be used all year round as a personal office on the Internet.

The industry Web portal continues to deliver the right news from the sector along with information on new products and features as well as market trends well beyond electronica 200.
