New from Powernet is the ESU8020 Series of DIN-rail-mount single-phase inrush-current limiters Transient pulses may occur when switching-on energy consuming products, and these pulses can cause undesired triggering of fuse elements

In such cases inrush current limiters are optimal for selective fusing.

The ESU8020 comes in four types: three for 230V AC single-phase operation rated at 4,10 or 16A; and a 400V AC two-phase 16A model.

Each device is enclosed in an IP20-rated plastic enclosure measuring 51 x 105 x 127mm and has an operating temperature range from 0 to 60C.
